Data Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Snelling of NoCO currently seeking a long-term, contract Data Manager with Secret Clearance for a federal government contract in Fort Collins, CO. This role is critical in supporting our customer’s overarching mission of optimizing business operations within and across the federal acquisition enterprise.

Responsibilities for Data Manager :

  • Work with Functional SMEs to understand business processes
  • Document requirements in the form of Scenarios and Use Cases
  • Enter and conduct analysis activities on requirements
  • Identify Measures of Effectiveness and Measures of Performance for Business Process Activities
  • Schedule meetings, workshops and facilitate collaboration between different Functionals
  • Manage review and approval of deliverables
  • Capacity to view the organization as a whole
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and writing
  • Ability to challenge fundamental assumptions, problem solve, think critically, and creatively
  • Ability to assume individual and collective responsibility

 

Requirements for Data Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, statistics, computer science, or engineering
  • 5+ years’ experience in statistical analysis, data mining / processing, or programming skills
  • Basic ability to read code in XML
  • Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required)
  • Very helpful to have knowledge/experience in Federal Government Acquistiion and Contracting Process
